Federica Zianni

Federica Zianni graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Sculpture. She returned there in 2022 with the position of lecturer in Foundry Techniques. Since 2018, she has participated in nationally prominent awards such as the Combat Prize, the Vittorio Viviani Prize, the Comel Prize, the Gabbioneta Sculpture Prize, the Fregellae Sculpture Prize, and has taken part in the GIFA (International Foundry Fair) in Düsseldorf. In 2021 he wins the We Art Open 2021 exhibition prize and is among the finalists for the Cramum Prize and Exibart Prize. He is also a finalist for the Mediterranean Contemporary Art Prize, the Fregellae Prize and the Artkeys Prize. He is among the artists-in-residence of VIR Viafarini-in-residence and participates in the artistic residency In-Edita 2, a project coordinated by Galerie Galerie Alberta Pane, Ikona Venezia and Marina Bastianello Gallery. In 2022 he exhibited his works in Milan in a solo show at Manuel Zoia Gallery. He is a finalist in the Premio Arte curated by Cairo Editore, whose exhibition took place at the Palazzo Reale in Milan. In the same year he began the production of his first monograph published by Vanillaedizioni. She is the winner of the Arte Laguna Prize 16 for the Special Prizes section for which she is in artistic residency at Fonderia Artistica Versiliese and winner of the ExtrArtis Artists Residencies for Creative Economy. Finally, she exhibits her artistic research for the first time at the 17th edition of ArtVerona and the 2nd edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola. In 2023 he returned to Rome with a second solo exhibition at Galleria Triphè curated by Maria Laura Perilli. He also participates in the Hackaton Re-Use, Role of Visual - Sculpture Art Creation in the Context of Sustainable Behaviour, a project co-funded by the European Union as part of Creative Europe Programme, which involves partnerships such as Sculpture line, Creative Area 42 and Jan Koniarek Gallery. He exhibits at SpaziCima for a solo exhibition in the Roman capital. He is among the finalist artists of ARP - Art Residendy Project promoted by the Luigi di Sarro Center. Finally he exhibits for the first time at GASC - Galleria D'arte Sacra Dei Contemporanei in Milan and wins the 7th edition of Arcipelago, thanks to which a work was acquired that became part of the collection of the Rocca dei Bentivoglio Foundation. In the same year he participated in the 2023 International Sculpture Camp at Huafan University in Taiwan, an intercultural and interdisciplinary event with talks and workshops with artists from all over the world. In 2024 she is in artistic residency at Villa Greppi, and is the winner of the call Note ai margini - visioni sottolineature e riflessioni sul paesaggio, curated by Associazione Luminanda, for which she created a public sculpture for the municipality of Tremezzina (CO).
