Mattia Consonni
Mattia Consonni (1972) is an artist, painter, and sculptor, who lives and works in Brianza. His artistic research aims to reinterpret the musical cultural heritage in an artistic key capable of taking on eco-friendly and sustainable meanings. Mattia Consonni reuses vinyls using mixed media techniques of acrylics, enamels, and discs on canvas, making it possible to give sound, and the resulting emotion, a physical substance. The reuse and artistic processing of music, in its tangible and intangible conception, let the artistic medium concretely regenerate human products in other forms, transmitting its meaning to future generations.
