Francesco Casati

Francesco Casati was born in Verone in 1990. Enrolled at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 in Visual Arts and Performing Arts, Painting major, he interrupted his studies in 2014 to work in a marble workshop in Verona until 2018, when he resumed his studies. A three-year graduate student in Painting, he lives and works in Venice. 2022 wins the ExtrArtis, Artists Residencies for Creative Economy award. In 2020 he wins the 103rd Young Artists Collective, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Galleria di piazza S. Marco 71/c, Venice. Concurrently participates in the Curatorial Residency Workshop of lecturer Dr. Thomas J. Berghuis at Palazzo Carminati, January 22-February 1, online guest Nick Tsoutas. From 2019 to 2020 he attends the Studio d' Artista at Istituzione Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Chiostro SS. Cosma e Damiano, Calle Cosmo 620, 30133 Venice and from 2019 he participates in the Open Painting and Drawing Workshop, Capannone 35 Forte Marghera, Via Forte Marghera, 30, 30173 Mestre, Venice.
